When: Saturday, November 7, 2026. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7:30 p.m.

The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra’s Masterworks program pairs Classical and Neo-Classical music. Conductor Peter Rubardt leads Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite, then pianist Carter Johnson joins for Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24. The evening ends with Bizet’s Symphony in C. The symphony lists the run time at 120 minutes.
For a lower-cost option, the orchestra also holds a working dress rehearsal of the same program that afternoon at 1:30 p.m. (doors at 1 p.m.). General admission for the rehearsal is $10 at the door, by phone at 850.435.2533, or online. Some pieces are played straight through and others are stopped and reworked.
Weather note: this post was written on October 9, 2026, as Hurricane Isaias approached the Gulf Coast. Organizers can change plans after a storm, so confirm with them before you go.
