Pensacola Beach’s Tuesday-night Bands on the Beach series is back on the calendar after the storm. The Santa Rosa Island Authority’s calendar lists Horseshoe Kitty at the Gulfside Pavilion on October 27. The October 13 and October 20 concerts were canceled because of Hurricane Isaias.
From Gulf Breeze it’s a quick drive over the Bob Sikes Bridge to Casino Beach. Bring a lawn chair, come a little early for sunset over the Gulf, and grab dinner on the island first.
Storm note: Visit Pensacola says Pensacola Beach’s public beach areas are open, though the island took more damage than the mainland. Respect posted restrictions and give cleanup crews room to work.
Check before you cross the bridge: The Pensacola Beach events calendar showed this date as scheduled when we checked on October 16, 2026, one week after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin on October 9. Recovery is still under way around Pensacola Bay, so confirm with the organizer and check FL511 for road conditions before you go.
