Puccini’s Tosca is at the Saenger for two performances in January. The story follows the opera singer Floria Tosca as she tries to save her lover, the painter Mario Cavaradossi, from the jealous police chief Baron Scarpia. The score includes the famous arias “Vissi d’arte” and “E lucevan le stelle.” The Sunday matinee is a good choice if you’d rather not drive back over the bridge late.

From Gulf Breeze, the Saenger is a short drive north across the Pensacola Bay Bridge into downtown Pensacola. The Saenger posts parking information on its website.

Check before you cross the bridge: the Saenger Theatre’s event page showed this date as scheduled when we checked on October 14, 2026, after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin on October 9. Recovery is ongoing around Pensacola, so confirm with the venue and check FL511 for road conditions before you go.
