The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra’s family concert, conducted by Daniel Stevens, features James Stephenson’s Once Upon a Symphony. It follows “Sally” on an adventurous trip with her grandfather that ends with Sally writing her own piece of music.
Stay afterward for the instrument petting zoo and activities with Blues Angel Music, Brush and Sketch Art Studio, the Pensacola Children’s Museum, Pensacola MESS Hall and West Florida Public Libraries. It’s a good first concert for kids.
Check before you cross the bridge: The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra’s concert page showed this date as scheduled when we checked on October 30, 2026, twenty-one days after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin on October 9. Recovery is still under way around Pensacola Bay, so confirm with the organizer and check FL511 for road conditions before you go.
