The Broadway musical Waitress plays two nights at the Saenger. It follows Jenna, a waitress and expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and her rocky marriage. The show has original music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, a book by Jessie Nelson, and original direction by Diane Paulus. All seats are reserved.

From Gulf Breeze, the Saenger is a short drive north across the Pensacola Bay Bridge into downtown Pensacola. The Saenger posts parking information on its website.

Check before you cross the bridge: the Saenger Theatre’s event page showed this date as scheduled when we checked on October 14, 2026, after Hurricane Isaias made landfall near Destin on October 9. Recovery is ongoing around Pensacola, so confirm with the venue and check FL511 for road conditions before you go.
