Downtown Pensacola Holiday Lighting Ceremony: November 4, 2026 at Plaza Ferdinand VII

When: Wednesday, November 4, 2026, 3:30–8 p.m.
Where: Plaza Ferdinand VII, 309 S. Palafox St., and along Palafox Street, Downtown Pensacola.

For Gulf Breeze families, the downtown holiday season begins just across the bay. Visit Pensacola says Santa arrives at 3:30 p.m. (weather permitting) in front of the Christmas tree at the Pensacola Museum of History for photos and wish lists. Around 4:45 p.m. he helps flip the switch. At 5 p.m. the Downtown Improvement Board, with ParkPensacola and the Saenger Theatre, lights more than half a million holiday lights along Palafox and beyond.

The Palafox Market Holiday Edition runs 4–8 p.m. in Plaza Ferdinand that night only. Winterfest’s mini-train circles the plaza from 5–8 p.m. ParkPensacola lists $1/hour city parking and some free lots for the season.
